MOROCCO - ATLAS
Morocco combines characteristics of the Arab, Berber and European world. This country offers a great cultural and architectural diversity, together with an unusual natural beauty.
The trip proposed by the GoOnBike begins and ends in the city Marrakesh, known for the red city, due to the color of its buildings made of dry red-pink mud. However the great moments of cycling will be in the Atlas mountains.
The Atlas mountain range is a mountain range in northwest Africa stretching 2,400 km through Morocco, Algeria and Tunisia. The highest mountain is the Jbel Toubkal, with 4 167 m, located in the south of Morocco. The Atlas Mountains separate the coastal lands from the Mediterranean Sea and the Atlantic Ocean from the Sahara Desert. The population of these mountains is constituted mainly of Berbers.
For the mountain bike, there is no better than the north flank of the Atlas. The route travels the mountain from east to west. The single-tracks that we're going to go through are fantastic. Everything was thought to ensure maximum fun and pleasure.
